I've been MIA lately. :( I hadn't crafted in so long that I was going through withdrawal. I'm on holidays this week so the week's leading up to this were busy...not that I've gone anywhere. Hopefully we'll be able to go on a couple day trips, if the weather holds out.
Ok, so on to my card. This card is for Kerin's Sketch Challenge and the Raspberry Suite Colour Challenge.
I enjoyed this sketch. I went to my Season of Joy set right away. The colours are not your typical Christmas colours but I thought, hey! Why not? I think the poinsettia is perfect!
On the inside I did the same image as the front. I stamped the flower first, masked it, and then stamped the swirls. I didn't use any ink pads on this card, just markers. I'd have to say that colouring on stamps is my favourite look.
Stamps: Season of Joy
Ink: Ruby Red, Mellow Moss, Cameo Coral Stampin' Write Markers
Paper: Ruby Red, Mellow Moss, Cameo Coral, Whisper White Cardstock
Accessories: Earth Elements Brads; Organza Ribbon; Dazzling Diamonds; 2way Glue Pen; Big Shot; Stampin' Up! Backgrounds I Texturz Plates

Love this card! nice colors and great lay out.The total package is beautiful.
That is too funny...I made some Christmas cards this week too! And oddly enough I didn't make holiday cards to send last year either...you know what they say, the painter's house never gets painted lol! Your card is beautiful, thanks so much for joining in :)
REALLY pretty Christmas card! And I like the inside very much as well!
Great job combining the challenges! I started to do that, but couldn't make it work, so I stuck with Raspberry Suite for now...I'll do a sketch later! Lol!...Great job!!!
Good idea to take this combo Christmas! Way to rock this color combo.
It's a good life!

No, not too crazy, but I understand the sentiment. I have been really bad about getting Christmas cards out the last few years. I know I need to start in January and make a few each month. Since I didn't start in time this year....maybe next? I'm still hoping to get at least some done this year...thank you for the inspiration! You did wonderful with this color challenge! It was such a fun set of colors to play with! :>
